Fuel pressure regulator w208 clk55
Does anyone know where the fpr is on this car? Car wont rev because there is a fuel starving issue. Checked on star . Changed filter and saw a vac type pipe just dangling from it. Could that be it??

This is unusual as a setup, so it maintains 3.8 bar all the time even if wide open throttle?? Are we saying computer just increases injection time to fuel properly? No increase of fuel pressure during high demands??

Correct but there are ways of increasing fuel pressure.
3.8 bar is adequate for all NA engines. if we do the math and use 14.7 psi per 1 bar it adds up to 55.86 psi. This is perfect for stock injectors.
If one were to upgrade to say 550 cc injectors then a 2010 VW GTI filter will fit right in bumping up the pressure. Pump volume is the next concern.
Get it?

I am migrating from NA to Supercharger. I am hoping to get the most out of the NA before the compression change and upgrade. The 550cc injector swap is on hold right now but coming soon. :-)
I picked up an E55 fuel rail with pressure damper which keeps from hammering the injectors at start up. Next concern is volume as the E55 runs dual on demand pumps.
I will likely fit an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator when the time comes to dial in desired pressure.
