European Carbon Fiber Door Panels For Sale
#27
Guys I have a set of OEM panels that I want to get rid of. I have heard they are near impossible to get in the states and are very expensive to obtain from Germany.
The condition of the left side is near perfect, and the right side has a minor kit in the fabric from the seatbelt contacting it. The carbon fiber portion is near perfect on both sides.
PM me if interested. Thank you.

I think many of us would like to have these, I really wish the US cars came with these as well. Chances of finding a set now are nearly impossible.

Hey Guys!
Due to its impossible to get any EU spec door cards, i tried to build a "plug and play" version which fits to the standard ones.
Here i have some pictures for you, maybe you like it.

Did you make these just for your own car or are you considering producing them and selling them to others?

Wow, i didnt expect that :-D
The handle is the original one with removed leather.
Then i coatet it many times with epoxy , and grinded it to get smooth. Lot of time to do this, but the hard work is the
carbon plate....
Here i took the original door card, removed the leather also and got the plastic plate where the leather was attached on.
Then i made a inlay with the original dimensions, this is glued an filled in on this plastic plate. Then hours of sanding an polishing.
After that, the plate gets covered with real carbon (no hydro or fake) and the logo is machined in with cnc. on the back of the logo is glued another carbon piece
to get the hole closed. didnt count the hours but it were many....
i try to get the parts scanned now, so i can produce more. i'll keep you updated. maybe i start a ne thread with the parts, but it will take some time.
here some more pitures further away. when i find some time, i'll put the parts on the original door cards an send some pictures.

Sebbl, you are a genius! I didn't notice that these were custom-made until you mentioned it.
The carbon fiber is virtually indistinguishable from the OEM version. Great job with the conversion.
Is it possible to make an aluminum version of the door handle? When do you plan on manufacturing these?
Cheers,

This is really an exceptional work of art!
I'll definitely want a set if you choose to make it into production in the future!
