Chrome trim around windows - Help me remove it!
So the wonderful guys wrapping my car are having a hard time wrapping the chrome black that goes around the windows. It would be a hell of a lot easier to remove it, wrap it and put it back on.
Has anyone done this or have any genius ideas how to do it?
Thank you

I had mine wrapped with no issues, the trim did not have to be removed. Maybe you should stop the work and find a more experienced specialist. My wrap has been on the car for over two years, no problem.

Hi guys....thats my first input here at mbworld...
Thats the same Problem that i had last week....a member at motor talk.de told me that, there is a seal along the windows, so you have to remove it and than you will see the screws. You must loosen these screws to remove the chrom.
I will do that at the weekend and show you some pictures.
I hope that i could help with my bad english.
Best regards from Germany

I haven't got a close up of the wrap work but here is a link to my initial post.

I had my grill, window trim, drl housing and rear trim all wrapped in black vinyl and nothing had to be removed. As a matter of fact, they didn't want to remove anything as the labour to do that is significant and there is a chance that the parts will be damaged and not replaced properly.
