w124 electric aerial
Hi new member here.
I have a w124 Sportline soft top. I have bought a new aerial, which said it was a replacement for the Merc original. However the original has 3 wires
red and yellow stripe..........which is a constant live blue...is the switchable live....and brown......don't know what this is.
The new aerial has 2 wires red......constant.....blue. ...switchable.
This leaves the brown wire on the original with no place to connect. It isn't paired with other wires as the fuse blows.........Can anyo

Gatsgats you need the right one for your car .Lots on ebay say that the one they are selling is an original replacment .And its not this is a sales ploy to get you to purchase their item.Only way it is a replacment is when you need to replace it because your unable to get one the same.
