Bluetooth module under $200

I got an ad from MB about specifically designed for 2000-2002 E class bluetooth module a couple years ago. I lost this ad, so I am curious if the offer still exists and where to buy? I've contacted a dealer, but they have no idea. They can put something but much more expensive.

I just asked my MB dealer today, and he said they don't make one.

I would be interested in getting one for my car.

I think what you are talking about is called the V60 Cradle adaptor aka the bluetooth puck. You will need either a v60 phone cradle or a cradle eliminator cable to use this. You may also need to upgrade your PSE module. There's a great article about this topic in the sticky.

If all you need is the Bluetooth puck, mine cost $275 from my dealer about a year ago. I don't think it was ever as inexpensive as less than $200 because I bought mine shortly after they became available.

What about buying a aftermarket indash radio, that has bluetooth?
I saw a few that have that capability, and it says they can connect to the
phone.
Most run around 300 bucks.

Yes, it just snaps into the Motorola cradle just like the obsolete v60 phone does. They come with simple intructions and all you have to do is press a button on the puck and it pairs with your Bluetooth phone. The length of time that takes depends on how many entries you have in your phone's address book.

don't do it. I am guessing you saw the huge lcd touch screen innovatek brand crap... My friend bought one for his chevy blazer. the gui is embarrassing although it is feature rich. There is also a problem with bluetooth 2.0 because his phone wont connect to it.

I recommend you just get Parrot BT Kit for $100 from EBAY.

If you don't want to do DIY then go to Best Buy or Circuit City and you can get installed with Kit for $200.

That was my other choice. How does it sound? Can people hear you ok on the other end, and vice versa?

Thanks

It works great. I have not heard any problem with sound quality. We have 5 cell phones and who ever drives the car the Parrot synch the phone book and work like champ.

Also I do firmware updates whenever the Parrot come with new firmware.
