So it should activate if somebody bumps your car while parked then. The passenger view of the install shows the wires above the screen. Would be nice if there were some kind of shroud to at least hide those from view. How clean was the rest of the install with them running the wires - all out of sight?

So much for some vendors being responsive to potential customers huh? Did Mid City commit to getting back to you in a certain timeframe or haven't you even gotten that level of communication?

They got back to me immediately I do not know why they are not responding to you. I know that all the Mercedes dealers use them in my area. I would try again I checked the number and it is correct. I do not know what to say except sorry that they are not responding to you.

I finally spoke to someone at Mid City and he quoted me $179 (including shipping) for the device. I'm pretty good with car electronics, but my expertise is with Japanese vehicles so I also asked them if they could recommend an installer in my area. As it turns out, the first shop he recommended is 1/2mi from my MB dealership, which is 40 minutes away. I guess I'll be paying the shop a visit next time I'm in the area.

Did you ever get the sunglasses holder? I bought one but have decided against using it (I like having the assist handle to hold onto while driving).

Rather than using a post for eco button just post that you have a sunglass holder for sale State what color it is. I sold one that way within a day or so.

I guess you are looking for the silly argument. Contact Arrie he will accommodate you since you 2 are friends. Really?

Just found this thread and noticed the part about AC being on during an eco stop......when the motor is off the AC compressor isn't turning. There is residual coolness but if the stop is long enough it will start warming up no matter what you have it set at. Sounds like this outfit can also program a module for automatically putting the trans in sport mode as well.

Tony,
Here at MBworld we pride ourselves on responding to posts on a personal level, and really getting to know each other's psyche. I see you have a total of 1 post on here bumping this 2 month old thread, which I must say is unusual. I hope you post more so you get to experience this individual interaction.
Sincerely,

For what it's worth I don't like the eco feature either, in my case choosing S, S+ or M turns it off automatically.

Woo.. emotions, take it easy.. There's much more to life than to get personal inside a chat forum.
Wow, you mean to tell me this is what I've been driving for the last decade?? A make that kids are now able to buy without co-signing? Lol!
