Tune for GL350?

Is anyone aware of a tune for gl350? I would think someone could get quite a bit more out of this engine since it's turbo.

I asked about it couple of times on here and in the diesel and performance page of this forum and none of the big name tuners replied. When I called Kleeman they said they working on a kd box but it's some kind go new system on the new bluetec that things don't look too good so I'm guessing they won't make anything, Brabus currently has some kind of power box but they say it's for the S350 bluetec(don't know what's the difference?? They are the same engine and tranny)... Thers a good ecu upgrade which gives around 50hp and 50tq but if your car is under warranty and if anything happen they might wash their hand saying its because of the tuned ecu plus I don't remember the tuners name.

But like Kleemann it's a ecu tune not a power box so unless someone don't care about warranty it's a great power increase....

I tried to get answers from BRABUS many times to no avail. They would reply to my emails, but never offered a release date.

I know for a fact that Brabus makes it for S350 bluetec 4matic, called and emaild them few times with no answer. But if it's avalible for the S350 bluetec why not for the GL350

599? That's better than the $999 I got from another member for my 450. And that's for 30 hp gain and torque.

Yeah, I went to get my ECU read and the data sent to Euro, but the shop where I am to get it done had their reader go out...figures. Will keep everyone updated. Well, the gains are the benefit of having turbos!

Subscribing.....I just checked and Eurocharged is in Houston like me, so I am even more interested in this now. If this goes well I can drive my GL or the CPU over there one day and not have to deal with mailing the CPU off.

We bought my wife a 2012 M last week and the improvements to the diesel between my 6 month old 2011 GL and her new ML are night and day. If I could get my GL a tune to make it be as responsive as our new ML, I would probably keep it vs itching to get the new GL. I am not too in love with the new styling of the ML's either. I have to say the new info center is miles ahead of what is in my GL though.

Please keep us updated on how the tune from Eurocharged goes and thanks!
