CEL, Limp Home mode on a 320CDI
Check Engine light came on while driving on a highway. Went to limp home mode. 0-60, sometimes...
Used my very basic scanner to get the codes.
P1100, P1111, P0111, P0100, P0245, P0489, P2009 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit Low.
I don't know if all of these are current or some are just stored.
I'm looking for some direction, what to check, where to look. Keeping stealership as my very last resort. I'd like to use this opportunity to learn more about this specific model. Any help is appreciated.

you should ask this guy what was his problem.

to me it sounds like intake sensors problem. you sure you didnt mangle up something when changing the fuel filter?
make sure your intake is firmly in place- it is very easy to misalign it and introduce false air
also have you replaced air filters? engine adaptations need to be reset via das on the diesels. this is mandatory.
also check all your fuses. call it a gut feeling.

I checked ECU fuses under the hood. all good. Checked for loose intake/intercooler piping. all good.
I did replace the air filters when I did the fuel filter, but did not reset engine adaptations, I just did the service miles reset.
I removed my fuel filter to take a look at servomotor, there is oil on it.
Thinking about take it in to the dealer for a diagnosis before I order any parts.

Dealer is not 100% sure, but says that it's the servo motor. Also, dealer found a blown fuse 104 (not sure how I missed it). New fuse blows right away. Estimated repair cost: $1200 (all day long job). New servo motor is about $250. I'm hoping to replace it myself. I've seen a how-to somewhere.
I guess blown fuse causing all other CELs.

this is actually starting to become endemic hence my "gut" feel in the previous post.

Which servo are you guys specifically talking about btw?
We're up for the 60K service soon and I like to mention all relavant potential issues to my SA prior to the service; items like the leaking steering racks, etc.
TIA,
Bish

I think the servo is the M55 which runs the linkage operating the butterfly valves (3 on each intake manifold). The linkages get gunked up with oil and dust residue from the front turbo seal. That overloads the servomotor and eventually the motor burns out and blows the fuse.

I did the resistor mod, as others suggested, and there is no more CEL and truck drives like it should. Still debating if I should replace that servo motor or leave it the way it is.

If the servomotor is inoperative and the butterfly valves are in the full open position [if you have good power at full throttle they ARE probably open] then you should be OK with your fix.
If you don't mind please post pic(s) of the resistor in place and the pins you connected the wires to.
