How to hide/disable mileage but not actual mileage

Hello owners. I have a 10 GL450 and each time I remove the key from ignition and leave the vehicle I come back to mileage being shown on the dashboard when I reenter the vehicle.

Is there a way how I can disable that feature so that when I unlock my car to get in I do not see the mileage? Attached is a pic of the GL in off mode with no key in ignition, but as soon as a door is opened the mileage shows.

This is a service feature utilized in every dealer vehicle intake procedure (i.e. When you drop off your vehicle at dealer for service). It cannot be disabled.

So there isn't a way how I can go into some setting and disable it or hide it from showing or the dealer?

Yes, I have that also and I don't mind it. I just don't want anything to show on the dashboard while the vehicle is off. That pic is just that even without key near or in ignition it shows the mileage.

The screen should go out after a short period of time when the key is not in the ignition.

Why is the short display of mileage a problem?

@ Alx
It's not really a problem it's just a view I prefer not to see or have up when entering the door or unlocking the car. But if it's something which can't be altered or disable then no biggie. Just thought to see if it can :-)
