plasti-dipped my GLK rims and grill

Plasti-Dipped Grill
Loved the look of this so much, I had to do mine.
I used a combo of Gloss/ and Matte Black for some contrast.
The grill have out fairly easily, just needed lots of patience.
This has been on for 2 months, and held up to several washings, and lots of highway driving.

plasti-dip
I have had my hood, grill and rims plasti-dipped for about a year now and never had a prob with it coming off or fading. Check out my site and u will see. It really is the best stuff u can buy. And when u dont loke it or get sick of it just peal it off and ur good as new.

I get it, not for everyone. Some people like to advertise that they have a Benz, even to cars 2 miles down the road. For me the logo was over the top, and since the hood ornament was not an option to this was the best way to downplay. #keepittoyourself #ifyoudonthaveanythingworthwhiletosay #noonecares

Mine is black and did the Benz rims in flat Black and hood and grill. I Love this stuff and it will last as long as u want it on. However u have to put atleast 4 coats on I put 5 for it to come off easy. If u don't put 4 it's a lot harder to get off. My friends is white and he has np as well.

I think urs came out great good job. I have changed mine again since then and again can't say how much I Love this paint. Any time u want to do anything to ur car or anything u want to paint just use Plasti dip and take it off when u want a change.

Not to mention it hides the dead bugs far better than the factory grill!

If u want take a look at my pics that I have. I have plasti dipped the mirrors, running boards, grill and I did have my hood dipped and I got tired of it so I just pealed it off. And if u want to do ur grill u really don't need to tape much at all. Just make sure u have paper behind the grill so u don't paint the rad. But the rest just peals off anywhere u don't want.

I did my oem wheels a few years ago and they have been fine, i just clean them and put a fresh coat of plasti dip on after winter and then put my good rims on.
I have a new extra GLK grill if someone wants to paint match or plastic dip it and keep there's for a spare.

Found this thread while looking at ways to black out my GLK grill. The original poster has inspired me to tone down that obnoxious star, and the chrome grill. Has anyone done just the grill, and not the wheels? My car is Palidium Silver, with dark tinted windows. Do you think it will look ok with just the grill black?
