vibration at idle
hello guys,
in the mornings when I start the glk and put D and have the foot on the brake I can hear and feel this vibration noise, is this something normal? after driving goes away like the rpms are up.. but deffinetly more on cold starts and the I don't like the feeling at all

Mine has a slight roughness to the engine when first started cold but I do not feel any vibration through the steering wheel. It just sounds louder. There is of course vibration at roughly 1500 rpm and then again ~2500 rpm when driving. But it is rather minor.
Perhaps you should have it looked at?

Lots of cars run a little rough when cold.
I think as long as it smooths out when it warms up you are OK.

Is there any solution to the vibration on GLK 350 2010? The engine mounts were replaced and only the steering wheel vibration was mitigated, but mild vibration is everywhere. It is worst while the car is at idle, foot on brake, hand on steering wheel slightly rotated and AC in Auto.

Did you ever get any relief in your vibration issue? My GLK behaves exactly as yours. Last week the dealer replaced the left engine mount. If anything, its now worse. I had a loaner E350 with the same motor, and it was absolutely vibe-free at idle. Frustrating.

I had the exact same problem with a 2010 GLK 350 that has about 40,000 miles on it. I brought it to a local Mercedes dealer and they replaced the engine mounts and transmission mounts. No vibrations at all now.
