No understeer but I think they are a little off on the camber of my 2010. Was told that it takes a special fixture to match the GLK wheels that only MB dealers had. The car feels a little light with not as much centering. But that is compared to a 2013 which I had for 2 weeks. I don't remember it being so light feeling in the front end. It also may be from 2 new tires on the front.

DanielOliver - that is $60 less than mine's. Against my better judgement I brought mine in this AM for our SB @ 20K miles.
I think the first couple of services are really cursory checks except the cabin air filter change on SB.
Does yours include tire balancing?

I am still upset about having to pay 255 bucks for a Service A. It is bascially just an oil change. All these other "checks" can't be a neccesity on a car with 10K miles.

Don't be too upset for paying that much for a oil change...it is MB service and not a Toyota or Honda service. Whenever I bring my Honda and Mazda cars for their routine maintenance I always say to myself "I see the difference now why MB charge premium on their service as the service of the common brands are way behind than MB". Also the charge is not to bad considering you only do it once a year so if you will factor in the dollar amount for your time going there (2-3 times on other brands compared to MB for a oil change), amount of regular oil change of the common brands ($75-85 per oil change per 6000-8000 kilometers) you are looking at almost the same cost as the MB service A. You also get a nice MB loaner car which will be hard to even get one on a common brand (maybe a shuttle ride at most).
So I ain't no complaining on my next service B for my GLK which will cost me $750 next month because I know I and the car will be taken care off nicely.
One more thing....for the first 2 years any wear and tear item on the GLK is covered under warranty (check if this applies on US MBs as in Canada it is like that!). I got my front and rear brakes, wiper blades done for free 1 month ago ($1500+- value) under that warranty. So anything like cabin filter, wiper blades, brakes and rotors......will be free of charge for replacement.

At 39K is it not a schedule C which includes the transmission service on a 2010? I have this planned for September on ours & definitely planning on the transmission flush & fill.

For "normal" service 10-20-30, 40-50-60 (not including tranny service at 40K which is extra) - frankly best buy is the 3-fer 30K service pack for $769.. which can be "shopped" by phone with other dealers to get over-the-phone discount off list $769.. tranny service would be extra..

A service costs
Had Indy shop do my A service for $150. Very quality work from MB specialist. They are quoting me $300 for B service. I am sure that the brake service will be additional. Local dealer quoted & $300 & $500.

I have a great relationship with a great indie in my area - for my older MB's out-of-warranty there are of great help on certain cars I have.
GLK's 1st gen is 2010-2012, and 2nd gen is 2013+.
1) Sign up for MB Owner's Online which is free on mbusa.com with your VIN# - that way you get immediate email notice of any "campaigns"/updates/recalls - there is no spam from membership at all.
On 30K prepaid maintenance A-B-A, I have also seen dealers service depts do B-A-B under that 3 pack if that is where your current mileage falls.
List for the pack is $769 - and "common" to get phone quote from other dealers for less than that - credit card by phone and it gets entered into your MB's VMI master record.
3-pack MUST be purcahsed and in place on VMI BEFORE you open that service ticket at the dealer - it is not retroactive if the service ticket has been already opened.
On recent model MB's, like GLK, MB service dept automatically sees any program updates when the tech plugs your VIN# into his shop system - which are free - and that is one thing indies don't have - I would say on average I have seen 2-3 program updates a year for the GLK - engine management or tranny management - each year since 2010.
The 40K pack doesn't make as much financial sense as much - since on 2010-2012 there should be tranny service at 40K (highly recommended personally) + air filter change.
Personally, the DIY for the air filters is straight forward - the Mann set of two aftermarket is like $25 - I do Mann only - and I choose to replace every 10K which sounds like overkill but it only helps and doesn't hurt at the price DIY.
Tranny service, get quoted separate and often I have seen dealers do November/December specials like $100 off - or check mbusa website for Nov/Dec service savings coupons...
Throw a 1/2 bottle of Stabil Marine Formula a couple of tanks before your 10K service - great stuff to keep fuel tank sensor and injection systems running top notch with all the ethanol and additives we have in pump gas nowadays..
Keep the beat !
