GLK250 Service A/B prices?
I don't think this has been asked directly yet. If so I apologize, and couldn't find it via the search. I'm very much convinced that my next car needs to be the glk250, but I wanted to know what the real-world service a and b prices are? I can do the AdBlue/DEF myself, but I'd rather the dealer do everything else once a year. How much can I expect to spend on these service intervals? USA Prices please.
Thanks in advance!

There's recent threads relating to the AdBlue that provided prices from several locations. They were all over the place ranging from the low 100's, to the 400 range.

SLK 350 2013
A quick and dirty answer.
Up here, the A service is about 350$ cnd and the B service is usually about 100$ more (air filters seem to be the difference).
I do a A or B service every 10 or 11 weeks so the dealer usually does a simple Adblue and oil change without the inspections half of the time.

I just called our local dealer, they want $250 for a service A plus the adblue cost.
When I told him that's ridiculous for a glorified oil change and rotation, he unapologetically told me I'm welcome to take it elsewhere, which I probably will.

I wonder what documentation is needed to keep warranty if you do the A service yourself/indie

One local dealer quoted for Service "A" - $191.00 and without Oil/Filter change and DEF fill up - $52.00.
Another local dealer quoted for Service "A" - $195 and without Oil/Filter change and DEF fill up - $53.00 , BUT noticed that "We would not be able to reset the light without documentation showing oil service with the proper items being used." Later they added they would need a copy of receipt for Oil and Filter.

On Prepaid Service from the Mercedes side - it seems a shame but GLK250 owner's have the same Tier 3 prepaid service cost as a ML350BT/GL350BT - since all disels are "lumped:" together as Tier 3.
Preapid service has 2-levels - Premier or Star - and your service adviser can explain the difference between those two service levels for each particular model.
Tier 3 Star/Premier: 2/20 - $1050/$1150, 3/30 - $1425/$1600- 4/40 Star only $1875
Tier 1 GLK gasser: 2/20 - $750/$950 , 3/30 - $975/$1250 - 4/40 Star only $1275
If I recall correctly the BT's recommend fuel filter at 20K/B intervals.
Mercedes dealers are allowed to price A/B/etc services by their local market - and dealer's are allowed to set their own market loaner car policies (no charge or fee) and for any rmaintenance service you should ask what the total's are incl taxes + Fee's (like disposal) - which the service adviser should be able to give you a accurate total.
I am not trying to sell prepaid maintainence - whether gasser or diesel - (1) if you are in a high cost MB a la carte service area - or - (2) any area when you are facing a 20KB, or 40K B+ - you may choose to consider prepaid 2/3 pack to lower your costs as compared to a la carte.
Please understand any prepaid service pack needs to be purchased BEFORE opening the service ticket - the pack has to be entered into the vehicle VMI record before the service ticket is opened - and prepaid service must be used before 12K miles or 14 months interval (whichever comes 1st) - and unused prepaid maintenance is not transferable or refundable.
My personal comment on BT's - DIT DEF/AdBlue is straight forward - best to pump DEF from a truck stop - or use brand retail 2 1/2 gallon jugs - however, my personal advice if using containers you MUST NOT use a metal funnel/hose under any circumstance whatsoever in DEF/AdBlue handling - and frankly if you have remaining DEF in a container - throw that leftover away and not risk degradation or contamination. DEF/AdBlue is safely handled.
There are klutz's out there - one rural convenience store adjacent to our area started selling DEF dispensed from a metal tank, with a metal dispensing nozzle - and knocked out 30-40 diesels in one week - contaminated DEF is a diesel killer...
Just trying to be helpful - keep the beat !

The brake flush was additional. I didn't have it done since the car was only 1 year old. I will probably have it done at the next service.

here's published rates from local dealer
B Service $ 570.00 without adblue

They had charged $175 for my Service A at 10K miles, again without AdBlue.
Euromotorcars, Bethesda MD.
Why is Service B so much more money? It doesn't seem like a lot more is involved.

Just scheduled service B for 20,000 miles in San Diego area.
Cost quoted: $399.95
The guy on the phone didn't know whether it included AdBlue or not - I am guessing that's an add-on fee if it's necessary.
