'98 currently at 179K.
have replaced both cats.
niggly annoying stuff starting to break.
Power steering leaking, somewhere got to climb under and find out why.
Still running fairly strong.

98 ML320 - 177800 miles! running strong...I just sold my 95 c280 for $4800 last night...sad to see it go...but time to cut down on number of cars...anyway...can anyone help me on my recent dilemma? I jump started my ML320...key that was in the ignition apparently got shot so to speak...put in a brand new battery...the key won't start the engine...luckily i have another key that has remote and starts the car etc...so right now I only have one key...the original key is probably needs to be resync to the ignition...the door locks etc...works fine...my valet key also does NOT work...I cannot find my "mickey mouse key that has the codes" according to my german auto repair shop....is there any other way to get my key resync to the ignition without the "master code key" more importantly...is there a way to override the electronics and have all my key work without going through the stealership? If you know the answers to these questions...PLLLLLEEEASE respond and educate me on this issue...much ALOOOOOHA and thanks of course!

Hey guys, guess what i did. I just turned 250,000. I've had the usual list of fixes but nothing major. All of you have been so informative and helpful in my maintinance and repairs. I've never taken if off road, although I know alot of you have. I have the MB high milage grill bagde for 155,000 mile.
I'd really like to get to the next level , 312,000 miles, but that will take another year and a half.
Thanks guy,
Benz 4 JTS

Up date on my 1998 ML320. Turned 167097 today and running just fine. Since my last posting I replaced the rotors and pads, added a bra, as well as a doggy devider. All from eBay at big savings.
Can anyone tell me if the 2002 ML500 17" wheels will fit without any issues?
Boston mark and the dogs

2000 ML320, 100K this week.
Cat Converter on passenger side,
6-disc changer died a year ago (replaced it with MP3 for $25 and 15 min of work thanks to instructions on this site!)
Brakes and normal maintenance only.
Other than that, looks and drives like a new car.

I have only owned mine for a week, but bought it with 152k. I had to fix a few oil leaks, replace the ps rack, but hey I cant complain for only paying $1200 for this rig. I have already added headrest monitors and a MB trailor hitch and wiring. Taking it on its first fly fishing vacation this weekend!
I love this thing, its rough enough that I don't care too much about it, but nice enough I plan on having her for quite a while. This is my 2nd 163, sold my 2002 ML55 a month ago to make room for my 2005 C55.
