1998 Merecedes ml320 hesitates when you accelerate
I have replaced a number of parts and am still getting a slight hesitation when I accelerate. Runs fine after initial acceleration. I have replaced the following: Fuel pump, fuel filter and lines, ERG valve and tube, MAS, MAP, and spark plugs. Cannot find anything else that may be the issue, Any ideas? -Roger

Thanks Maj. Tried throttle Relearn, engine light came back on with four of the original codes before I replaced all the above. Think I am at the point that I need to take to professional.

This is similar to my problem but I haven't checked my EGR valve/tube yet. My hesitation can be really bad sometimes though. Might this throttle relearn help me?

If you are getting an EGR code P0400 then a throttle relearn will not help. You must check to see if the EGR tube is clogged and if it isn't change the EGR valve.

Then clear the codes and see which ones return.

Thanks Maj. Battery died, replaced. Checked codes and only 400 and 105 came back. I replaced the EGR valve and tube about 6 months ago. Just checked the MAP sensor again and the hose was cracked and stretched so I cut it back for a better seal...hope that will clear the 105...will check. Any other suggestions since I replaced the EGR? Thanks for your help. -Roger
