Great info 503C43///AMG!!!
Would you be so kind and post up the Front door side Mirror assembly guide for the ML. Specifically the 2011 (164) including housing covers and mirror attachment to the motor mirror base.
Thank you forward.

Great thread. Does anyone know how that top wood trim on the door comes off? Do I just pull from the outside or do I have to take the panel off and release it from the inside of the door panel?
Thanks.
Thanks.

ML W164 Door Trim Remvoval
Hi,
Did you ever find out how to remove the trim at the top of the doors? I'm looking to refurbish mine and can't get any info on how to take them off...

Answering my own question....
Once the door card panel is off, it's obvious that the wood/aluminium trim next to the interior door handle is held on with 4 or 5 pressed nuts.
They are a mysterious size, but a 1/2" socket undoes them just fine.
Makes it easy to cover the tatty old trims with the vinyl wrap of your choice...
