is this engine ticking a common problem for ML63's -- the 5.5 biturbo engine?

ML63 AMG (2006)
Hi everyone,
Just bought an ML63 (2006) - 50'000km (I guess roughly 31'000 Miles) and I got a ticking noise as well (ticking increasing with acceleration) - hence brought it back to a Mercedes dealership. Just received few hours ago the call from the Mercedes Mecanics and they told me that they will replace Camshafts and also all the hydraulic lifters. (The overall cost around 10 000 USD)...will be able to tell you more when I receive the precise details.
Lucky me I bought it from the Mercedes Dealership and I got an extended warranty....so everything should be on it.
Hope for you (Rippin'AV) that you won't have the same bad surprise
