Wouldnt ride quality be the same, if you had Renntech? If you lowered to the same height as your lowering links, i think its just the same.
Reason i say this, is i lowered with Star, and lowered with Links, and both same.
They essentially do the same thing, and trick the AirMatic.
If you want better ride quality, need to remove Airmatic, and put conventional suspension in.
I did that with my old BMW 7 Series, and it was MILES better

The renn-tech raises the car to normal height at speed to keep alignment correct, and ride quality optimal...... then lowers car at low speed and parked.
My links keeps it lowered all the time.....
If that makes sense.
I've been riding on stock height (stock links) for 2 days now and I can't believe how much better this thing rides/handles over the links setup. It was a bit like a hoopty lowered honda bucking around with the links....... it's back to stable ride.
I'm hoping to get best of both worlds with the renn tech module.

I just lowered my 09 on links two days ago myself but only lowered it about 1.5 inches. How far did you lower it? I think anything further than that and you'd have issues with possibly bottoming out the shocks or it being too bouncy.

I can see a slight downgrade in ride quality but a huge upgrade in aesthetics. But, if I can have the best of both worlds, I'm all for it

I did not appreciate the degredation in ride quality until I pulled the links off..... and I was shocked.
I was also probably "living" with the lower ride quality to justify not spending the $1400 on the RT module..... but my final analysis says a ML63 should not sacrifice ride quality...... my F150 perhaps.... but not my ML.
I ponied up for the little hand-held device that allows me to tune on the fly...... ride height by speed by mm's.

The Lomo M1 module also seems interesting as you can control the settings directly in the speedometer's menus with the steering wheel buttons. You don't have the hassle of hooking up the handheld device that Renntech's solution has. I have no personal experience with it though.

Big thanks to Eurocharged in Houston for installing my RennTech Lowering Module.
MB dealer wanted $2600 installed! The part is around $1400, so the rest labor..... wow.
EC took care of me. Stock wheels work well with the lowered look as well.
