Cabin Air filter replacement 2013 ML550
I've done searches here and on other sites. Does anyone have instructions on replacing the cabin air filter for the 2013 model year? Thanks in advance!

If it's the same as my ML63 is very easy..
Remove the passenger side air intake cover (just pulls off..no fasteners) and then lower shroud..couple of nuts If I recall..you will the see the end of the filters..pull them out forward..you must schrunch them a bit to get them out...stuuf the new in and replace the parts..done..takes 2 filters

Thanks much. I popped the intake cover as you noted, released the 3 clips holding the filter housing in place and cleaned (vacuumed) the prefilter (looks like a particulate only filter) and also the carbon impregnated main filter just to get loose debris out. I'll order them and replace both at the next service. I used a little WD40 on the rubber intake cover housing to make the cover fit back easier. Thanks for the quick reply!

You have a dust filter that is accessed from under the hood. You also have a combination filter that is accessed from inside below the glove box.
Here are the WIS instructions.

One needs not remove the filters from inside the cabin..they are easier exchanged from the firewall side
