Update 12/20/2015
We still have the R as of now it has 85504 miles.
We are not actively listing it yet willing to sell for the asking price.
2007 Carpi blue with gray interior.
Has a warranty (Assurant Solutions) until 91701 miles or July 2 2016 no deductible and they cover virtually everything.
($40.00 transfer fee)
At 73425 miles: New tires, spark plug, new steering wheel, battery, Brake flush, cooling system flush, front axles cv boots replaced, Rear level links
At 78630 miles: Transmission serviced, New power steering pump, valve cover gaskets, new air compressor, right front air strut
Weathertech all weather floor mats all 3 rows
No spare tire.
Typical MB surface rust on lugs
The rear cargo bracket to lift the cover for storage is cracked functions fine.
It will come with the all weather mats
The grill is not the original grill. The MB emblem was broken off by someone when the PO owned it.
It has been replaced with a OEM R-class grill
2 key fobs one new works great and one other that works VERY intermediately (would not trust it)
We still owe a significant amount on it USAA holds title.
As of today it has 85504 miles this is still my wife's daily driver so the miles will increase.
She averages 25 miles a day.
I have a spreadsheet tracking the MPG 13.7 is the average if this worries you then this is not the vehicle for you.
Best tank 17.xxx worst 11.xxx.
We have one local MB dealership in Bellingham they have exclusively serviced the R for us.
Before that the PO had Crown MB in Dublin Ohio service the R.
We have no rush to sell we truly enjoy the R every time we drive it
Price $34500
We live in Ferndale, WA 98248

As an R63 owner I have to say that there is no way a non-R63 owner can understand how awesome this car is. There is just no other car in the market place that embodies the R63 package. Even R500 owners can't know the higher level that this car exists on.
I have been thinking of letting mine go for over a year bc I would like to have an updated infotainment system (I can't get all XM stations & blue tooth doesn't work w / new phone) But I can't find anything that comes close to the performance & the roominess without it being a truck. I really love the lower ride over a newer AMG GL63 while I love the higher ride height than an AMG E63 wagon...
I really wish they would have continued with the R, w/ an AMG package.
Good luck w/ your sale, don't settle for less.
