2003 S600 Help!!

I own a 2003 s600 v12tt and I have had this car for some time now. I recently had MB look at a leaking connector on the side of my transmission. It needed to be replaced so I had them do so.... Well, I get there to pick it up only to find my check engine light on with "Pre Safe" message on the cluster and my car won't shift out of first gear. Also, my C/S button beside the shifter is inactive. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Get it back to the dealer it sounds like they may not have connected something correctly.

At the very least you're going to need to pull some fault codes to get started.

The good thing is I never took the car off the lot, besides me doing a test run but I refused to take it with me. I went back and had a buddy of mine run a code check for my personal reference going back in and came up with: p2101 component y3/6y3 (1-2 and 4-5 shift solenoid valve) has a short circuit to ground, and CAN message from control module n15/3 (electronic transmission control (etc [egs])) is faulty. gear display. ??

Your conductor plate was likely damaged by the fluid

Being that I had no problems driving it there, did MB do something wrong during the process of changing the connector? Just odd that it acted up after I had the connector replaced not to mention they never told me about any check engine light over the phone when I received the call that my car was ready.

If your connector was leaking it's reasonable that fluid damaged the conductor plate. This is a very common defect . See if they step up and agree to pay but it's likely they'll argue the leak is what damaged the other parts , not their work in repairing the leak

I don't see how fluid could damage the conductor plate, since the conductor plate sits in oil all the time. It sounds like the garage should be responsible for their mistake.
