huming noise and vibration above 55miles
I do have huming noise and vibration above 55. So I changed the all 4 tires.
The noise and vibration is still there. I found little dent in front driver side wheel probably caused by potholes. Hunter road balance was OK though. Is the noise caused by dent? or something else like bearing or driveshaft?
Car is 2008 with 15k miles on it.

Just Can believe how many pot holes in Bronx near the George w. Bridge.
I am going to Dealer tommorow to change the wheel. It is somewhat 800~1000 I guess, just hope no damage in wheel bearing and other parts.
Anyway does insurance premium go up if you claim it?

I've got separate tire and wheel insurance for that. I changed four tires on my privious car using the same insurance company. I never changed wheels, only tires. This time i will try to it. The policy cost $9xx.00 for the term of your lease. Last time it was much cheaper..something like $400, but it totally worth it in our area. Another way to save wheels and tires - keep air presure higher. I put 38-39.

Mild Humming noise at 60mph cause all 4 wheels to lock up at highway speed. Car only had 37,900 miles. Luckily no one was injured. Problem with front differential. Mercedes is ignoring this because of liability. They are waiting for more accidents to occur before addressing this problem

Have your mechanic check the motor and transmission mounts. These are prone to failure. When they collapse, much more vibration and drive train noise get transmitted to the cabin.

Have the same issue, changed the Transmission mount to no avail, thought it was wheel balancing or something since I have 22" wheels on mine, I put the 19" stock wheels and noise was still there, wonder what it could be, will have it checked for tie rod ends as RajwanyS550 mentioned.

That's likely the bearings in the rear differential. Annoying as hell once you pick up on it. You can try a diff service (drain and replace with a high quality gear oil) but generally it will slowly worsen until it needs a new (or LKQ/rema'd) pumpkin.
