So then!!!! Lets start this Project seriously now.
So I found this super exclusive interior from a S65 that must have been specially ordered since NO plastic parts at all was vissible and headrests had the AMG logo stamped. ALL was covered in leather or alcantara. Even the plastic sourounds at the bottom of the seat is leather covered. I have NEVER in all these years seen this type of interior, So I HAD to have this even though the front seats where pretty well used.
And I can not use them, Just not good enough for me and I had a set of front seat covers laying around from the other W221 Project. Only PROBLEM was that this exclusive new interior had a black stich in one place that i LOVED and my old covers didnt. Se here:
So what to do I thought?? Lets try a pen with waterproof inc on a spot where it dont show and to my BIG surprice the result where FANTASTIC:
That made up my mind..It was so OEM looking I decided to do some BIG therapy jobb and do ALL stiches in black....And it looks awesome. Here are som examples for now:
To bee continued.............

Here we go again!!!
So it is time to replace the old grey leather cover and buttons to the new ones in black. Had to losen all these screws and then peal of the metal cover from the back of the airbag. Then you have to take out the airbag. A little force was needed. And remeber these are explosives..PUH!!
Then it was just to put it all in there again in the new cover the reverse way.
Then time for the metal paddles. I actually only used the carpet knife to cut out. Pretty simple and no Dremel dust. Then Cables was Plug n play. Nothing had to be modified.
I REALY REALLY REALLY REALLY recomend to get this thicker sport Wheel compared to the original spaghetti thin Wheel. Such a good feelig to stear the car now..
.
Anyone intrested in the leftover greay buttons and greay leather with sitching cover let me know.

The old Wheel looks like its made for a old lady and it is horribly thin.. And the Picture dont make the new one justice. It is a horrible phone Picture. Hard to get a good angle where it looks like it does in real Life.

I think the wheel that looks like an old lady is the horrible w222 wheel. I really like the re0freshed wheel from 2010+ though.

+1. Yeah, what the hell where they thinking when they designed that horrible Wheel. I guess that is why they did another desig for the S coupe.
