MY NEW PROJEKT! S65 AMG
So I could NOT keep my hands of the W221 model..
Here is what I am starting with this time.
S65 AMG 2007
ALL options....
Done so far:
All chrome transformed to black
21" Khan wheels
Lowered
TV unlocked
Facelift Mirrors
Facelift taillights
Plans to do:
As usual a new Black/biege designo interior.
New sport Wood/leather wheel
Metal shiftpaddles.
22" wheels like the other S-klass
Facelift AMG kit with DRL
Facelift headlights
Facelift grill
and so on..

Hey Chris, my name is Sam. New to the forum. I gotta tell ya the past day and a half I've been reading scrolling through all of your projects and must admit that I am stunned!! Your work is what made me want to join this forum. You have an amazing gift, and are extremely talented sir. I am amazed of the effort you put towards your vehicles and how detailed you are, never seen nothing like it! I recently bought my first MB, and am very satisfied with the craftsmanship of this vehicle. Got mines with the AMG appearance package which is exactly what I was looking for. I am very excited to follow this new build, because I am planning to do a lot of changes to my car as well and am inspired by your work! You're the man!!

Yes Chris your updates/retrofits are very impressive
. I plan to implement some of them myself at some point in the future. One I am researching right now is adding a FLIR camera and have its output selectable in the IC via the Night Vision Interfaces or in COMAND display via the video interface (?). The FLIR will provide IR viewing/vision out to 800+meters. I have the rear back-up camera and so I may have to jump through some hoops for that
, if I use the same interface on the rear of my command. Any advice?

Interested how the FLIR camera works out...
Also... Chris, did you just use a Drive in Motion bypass module or are you using Star Diagnostics to unlock the TV somehow?

FACELIFTING OR NOT?
As some of you might know I am ALL over facelifting on all my Projects..But now I get unsure...Since a W221 AMG in White makes the lines of a bumper show so much I actually Think the old bumper looks alot more sporty and agressive then the facelift. BUT I LOVE the DRLs. I sure will go for the NEW facelift headlights but I amd totally torn about the bumpers..For example I really miss the black mesh on the sides on the facelift and so on....DAMN...

Headlamps and LED DRLs in facelifts look nicer and sportier . Namely when you turn the headlamps on the difference is between pre facelift headlamps and facelift headlamps is more dramatic .
Bumper cover ? I would still go one step further and replace it as well to complete the look

Man Chris, you don't waste any time!!! The car looks AMAZING! I remember you saying on an earlier post how much you wanted a white S class, congrats!! I do agree with you about the preface lift amg bumpers do look a lot more aggressive and I believe that they are a little rare. I would do the facelift headlights and facelift rear diffuser but keep these bumper covers. Great progress with the interior by the way!!👍👍

Dont want to sell mirrors to USA anymore since there seems to be trouble with the verions from europe all the time. Sorry but I am one of those guys that refuse to use all these twitters,facebooks and instagrams and ****...
