High quality tire/wheel changer in Charlotte NC.
Hi.
I recently purchased a pristine low-mileage 2013 S550 and am going to put some new tires on it soon.
Does anyone know of a tire mechanic with whom I can trust these completely unmarked AMG 19" triple 5-spoke wheels?
The last set of tires I bought for my Lexus LS were from Pep Boys of all places and they sold me a great set of Cooper tires and did well enough on changing them but not sure I'm willing to trust those guys with this car...
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers.
PS...the Cooper Zeon tires I bought have been excellent. It is a W rated tire which offers exceptional performance at a very reasonable price point.

Oh....so you did buy an S-class. I recommend that you shod your car with some Cooper Zeon's. I've been reading in another thread that they are the best and most dependable tire on the market and made specifically to handle the heft of the W221 chassis. There was only one guy in that thread who really liked those tires, but he sounded like an expert about tires, so you should you trust his judgment and go with them.
Be sure to post some pics of your new ride with your new tires.

Any thoughts on clear bra or a good car cover?

Nope, doesn't need tires right now.
But I wouldn't hesitate to put them on it.
In the other thread the OP asked people for ideas on tires people had a good experience with, I responded. You got a problem with that?
So your car is like 10 years old now, you gonna upgrade soon? Can you afford to?
But I wouldn't hesitate to put them on it.

I'm sorry, that wasn't nice, I apologize.
In fact, more often than not vintage is preferable to me and broadly speaking quality and newness are in no way correlated. I bet your 600 is sweet.....
....wanna post a couple pictures?

No need to upgrade Nas. I have a much better car than you do and it was originally AOT more expensive. And a helluva lot faster too with a lot more standard options. You get what you pay for, right? Not that yours is a bad car or anything....just a step down compared to my top tier S600.
BTW....my car is paid for. Is yours?

LOL...no you don't.

Are you a race car driver? I'm not. What options does my car not have that I would be wanting for?
"You get what you pay for, right?"
Not necessarily. Based on your previous warranty comments you paid for a big maintenance nightmare.

Hard pressed to believe a 2013 S550 with all the nuts gives up anything to a
2006 of any configuration...LOL
"BTW....my car is paid for. Is yours?"
SMH....you can't be serious? You know what my motto is? If you pay cash they can't steal your identity...
...how much cash do you have in your wallet right now? When you go to the ATM how what's your standard withdrawal amount? LOL...
PS...how much did you pay for your car?

How do you like those pictures?
But seriously, you asked the "paid for" question (asked and answered)....how about my wallet and ATM questions? Where are you on those?
