Any time you lower a car it requires an alignment. It could be a little out of whack and the alignment may correct it.

Here's car now hasn't been washed and raised back up. It's barely even lowered. I'm going to get alignment friday then lower it again and get another alignment. I'll take better pics once it's all done.

Turned out perfect! Nice job. Those wheels now look right on the car. Aside from the discrepancy in height is the drop giving you issues?

well earlier today i rode home with it dumped pretty low. i heard one tire fender rub and that was it. immedaitely pulled out jack and raised it back up once i got home. alot of my old cars and even bikes im use to riding pretty low. but i realized pretty quick this isnt the type of car i want to ruin. im guessing maybe max of another half to once inch drop once its all done.

also not sure how the hell they hooked up my led lights in front bumper but when i turn on fog lamps they keep blinking. how did you guys wire up the led lights. did you just wire it up to the small day time running light in the headlights?

My car looked like that after wheel change. The air left the suspension.
I had the car running and used the lift function. When i lowered it again it was fine.

The LED's are supposed to be connected to your former side marker harness from your original bumper. The harness for the fog lamps is supposed to be tucked away and will no longer be usable. It seems that they wired them incorrectly.

You could wire them into the fog as well, just would need to splice in some load resistors. A ballast would help also protect your LEDs from blowing as well acting as a current regulator (think of it as a surge protector). Really depends on how you want them to be triggered, either via fog switch or automatically with DRL at night as sidemarkers were.

Resistors give off a lot of heat. I wouldn't go that direction. Ballasts are a pain as there is no certainty regarding long term reliability. Also, you'd likely have to have somebody who is very good with car electronics help you get the correct ones. I'd go with the kit mfr recommendation of wiring them to the side markers.

Yes, resistors do give off a lot of heat but that's not a big deal as long as you safely mount it to a metal surface. And regarding ballasts long term reliability... well sure you can say that about anything on the car... it's not like there isn't already ballasts for your oem bixenons. There are ballasts already that have simple ready to plug to the fogs, but when you really get down to it, it's just two wires...power and ground so the installation isn't that bad.

That said, yeah, do what the manufacturer recommends to maintain whatever warranty you have on the part. Just chiming in that if you did want to keep them wired to the fogs for more control, it can be done.
