Amg wheels on non sport package 08 s550
What do you guys think? I have the w221 without exhaust pipes showing, and the chrome "banana" wheels. Should I swap them for the amg sport package 5 spoke wheels?

I've heard someone call them that, assumed it was a thing.
Here are the amg ones I'd be swapping to.

i've got those 19's on my car. Good looking wheel... Mine are curbed and bent so I'm getting another set, if they were in good shape, I'd keep them

I have a non sport silver MY10 and i was also thinking of swapping my wheels, but dont know if it would look any better especially since those AMG wheels looks better on the sport model.

Swap em. I had a non AMG 220 that was positively a grandma car. Wheels and a slight drop work wonders. For the AMG package, 75% of the look is in the wheels.

Thanks guys for your feedbacks. The dealership in question have settle my claim.
Replacing the hub, brake and spring. $5,000 cash and mine waiver. All good. I should be in my car before the week ends.
Thanks for your input.

I have the oem 19s that came with the car with a new set of oem sport contact 2s that were done by the mb dealer just a few thousand miles before I had purchased the car.
Going from the 18s with Michelin winter tires back to 19s, the ride is noticeably busier and noisier but still pretty good. I'm not sure whether 20s would be much worse, there's not that much sidewall on the 19s.

So I've done the swap, car looks a lot better with these amg 5 spoke wheels. I like the amg wheels better on a car without the rest of the amg kit.
I have noticed that the ride isn't as silky smooth as it was with the smaller wheels and comfort tires, but the difference is not enough to make me go back to the ugly banana wheels.
