Don’t Forget to Check your Spare Tire Pressure
Should be 60psi
I had 15psi.
still all new with the white gloves on top. Continental. probably never checked.
and I figured out what the 4 inch long bolt was for... located next to the jack. I did! yup.
Motor on,

Four inch long bolt?

Back in the old'en day's....there was a tire in the trunk or under the car that in case of need could be mounted to the vehicle while on the side of the road....there was another thing called a "Jack" and even a lethal weapon called a "Tire Iron" that was also included with a car.
Currently, possession of a "Tire Iron" can lead to you being arrested even if you did not commit a crime. Just having it in your car can be perceived as a crime (I think the spare tire is a crime against nature, not sure where "they" stand on that currently).

My E63S has the "Blow up" spare. Our C300 has a spare. Our GLS has a spare....I think the AMG GT has a can of fix a flat.....

I found a 4ish inch threaded steel headless bolt located next to the flimsy car jack. Also a wheel “chuck”. The bolt is included so that when changing your unfortunate flat tire.. ther proper procedure is to remove one lug nut prior to jacking up the beast..and inserting the 4ish inch piece into where the lug nut once was. Then slightly loosen other lugs..chock the tire..set the emergency brake..jack up car ( not in that order). The long headless bolt will allow you to remove the wheel ( leaving the long headless bolt inserted). This will provide a handy way of re-installing the l spare without guessing where the holes are located (in the dark, whilst wearing a pair stylish white cotton gloves). And I now know where the 4 jacking points under the car are located..just in case.
But I have never changed a flat tire in my life..and likely never will.
Carry on.
