Does anyone know how to actually do this?

I'm searching for oil in a wiring harness (not the cam sensor one), it's above the SAM. I got the first one off, can't get the 2nd from the 2nd picture. Here's a picture of it successfully removed. I can't get it off w/ these instructions. Thanks.

Do yourself a huge favor---reattach the connector and pray you haven't damaged anything ----you have been taking to many sleeping pills---you look for fluids where fluids are used!!

Plutoe, Your last sentence does not make sense that's exactly where oil ends up if it leaks badly enough from the cam solenoids.

Scott, have you slid out the plastic lock from the second connector? Should be like the one on first picture, but on the opposite side. If I recall correctly, it was very easy to detach both of these.
The second pic appears to be telling how to disassemble the connector itself, once it's already out.

The 2nd one slid out slightly from the back but I don't know how to slide the cover off from the front according to the 2nd photo let alone take out the retainer, hence the post
