Some upgrades on my new E400

Recently replaced all interior, trunk and side mirrors puddle lights with LEDs from Precision LED. Also gave my AMG wheels a protective coating treatment from Pinnacle Black Label 8. This stuff was pricy and came with two applicators. It's suppose to last approximately 18 months and makes cleaning the wheels a breeze....we'll see. This morning I installed roof spoiler which came already painted to color code match of vehicle. It was really easy and took about 20 minutes. Made sure glass was cleaned then use alcohol pad to remove any wax, rain-x etc. Warmed the glass area with a heat gun then used a automotive adhesion promoter. I did the same for my daughter's 2015 Honda Accord Sport roof spoiler last year and it's solid adhere to the glass. Here are some pics my E400 to share.

Your seats are a trip in the back are they two toned? I like it. Do you mind sharing where\what model LEDs you got and was it hard to replace all the lights? I want to do this as well. I've been too busy with work to finish up modding lately.

Thanks Guys. My seats are mystic red nappa leather with rear seats center black from Designo. The only thing I'm not too fond of the perforated design. This leaves room for small particles get trapped in those tiny holes. Aside from that love the two tone color which is also on the doors. Next mod is the install clear bra, plus headlights and mirrors protection. No need to do the door edge or door handle pocket since vehicle already came with clear protection film in those areas. After that pretty much that's it for now. LEDs were easy to install just followed a youtube clip from Precision LEDs where I got the LEDs from. Thanks again guys!

ElisTwoCents, I went with Crystal White. If you decided to also change the mirrors puddle lights check out this video clip on youtube some guy who has a C63 which was a great help. His C63 AMG and my E400 mirrors basically the same. And like the guy said in the video clip popping that mirror cover off for the first time on a new car will make a loud noise like you broke something. However patiently and carefully I used a plastic trim tool around the back edges. There is a clip on the back side so be careful. I was able to prey off the cover without breaking any tabs, etc. Man but I was a bit nervous..here the link I watched. Hope it helps.

Mine: 2014 E550 4matic; Hers: 2016 CLS 400 4matic
I have used the wheel coating - it helps a bit. Get some Sonax wheel cleaner too.....out of the Pinnacle black line I love their glass coating the best. I used the paint coating on my previous car and was not overly impressed. I used polish angel on my and love it - one year thus far.

All of the upgrades look awesome
