My take per only a week of ownership:
C63s- Excellent interior fit and finish. Good power and not overboard. Car doesn't feel like a boat like my past CL63. Much more practical with the rear seat. Takes the curves very well. The transmission feels really good; the transmission in the Z had a mind of itself sometimes. My wife loves it and never care for the Z06. Quite a bit of rattle on the roof.
Z06- Power is insane, not usable, easily loose rear traction round 60 mph on a straight. You can bye a nice used bike for cost of replacement tires. Interior is very nice, but not as nice as the Benz. Get crazy attention. Minor rattle on the hardtop, but less than the C63s. Exhaust is louder, no drone, no burble. The only reason why I traded it is because the car was only a toy; one which I wasn't able to enjoy with the wife and 2 precious kiddos.

Interesting, I was going to sell my Shelby GT 350 and was looking at the C63S or the Grand Sport. Z06 had too much power to be used as a daily driver. Was also looking at the F type R

not to quibble, but the z06 is a sports car. i think that distinction has to be made out of respect for the corvette.
op, i was actually strongly considering a corvette and i might have even gone for it had the grand sport come out earlier. not regretting getting a c63 s coupe one bit, but, then again, i probably wouldn't have regretted getting a grand sport either, lol. maybe one day i'll have both!
sorry for your loss but happy for your gain, mate!

You probably already know this but the only F-type you can get a manual in is the V6 or V6S. A lot less power than the R but a lot of people consider the V6S to be the enthusiast's choice for the F-type.

Car looks awesome! Was just in the same situation with my 2012 Blade Silver Corvette GS Coupe; was ready for a new one .... went to the dealer and nearly bought the exact same Z06 as yours in the picture, right down to the colour combo. I went home to think it over ( learned not to make on the spot shot gun decisions when car buying as I am very instant gratification lol ) ... after thinking it over I decided I wanted out of the plastic low grade interior, choppy harsh ride, and something a little more daily driver ability and class .. my GS Corvette sat under a cover 8 month out of the year as I live in Vancouver BC where it rains so much, it became a spring/summer driver only... as you said, a Corvette is a toy, spot on. I ordered my C63S 3 weeks ago and cant wait for Spring! Enjoy the new ride!

What size kids are you fitting into the back of the C63s? I absolutely love the look of the Coupe, but can't imagine folding my 5 and 8 year old by the front seats every day.
