Which Car Should I Buy?
Factors to consider;

Thinking the Sl550??
Please note can not afford Sl63 AMG 2009 too expensive at moment

If power is first on the list, then you'll want the SL55. It's noticeably faster than the other two right out of the dealer's lot and can be made even faster with a fairly simple pulley swap and ECU tune.
SL55 also wins on sound, presuming you mean the engine sound. The SL63 sounds even better than the SL55 but that's off your list for the reason you described.
All three are pretty awful when it comes to depreciation, though.

I considered the Aston as well but when i looked at several used ones with less than 20k miles I was very dissapointed on how the interior was holding up. I do think the DB9 has the best sound.

Buy a cheap Aston, it's called a Jaguar XKR.
I had one and it was lovely, then I gave it to a well known Jaguar tuner
and the ruined it. If you buy a Jag just lower It, and maybe an ecu tweak,
that's all it needs. I wish I had kept mine without the huge amount I spent
on tuning.

They are completely different cars. You need to drive them and see which one you like.

So what did you ever buy? I bought a 2009 XKR this summer and think it is great - I did keep my sl55 though as they are 2 completely different car from ride and shift perspective. By the way - most people think the XKR is the nicest of my cars!

I have the same question which one should i get? 2009 SL550 fully loaded for under 90K or 2006 sl55? Actually i already put a down payment on the 2006 SL55 for $59K. Dealer said they will replace all AMG brakes and also replace the brake rotors. What do you guys think? The exterior and interior is in mint condition. Alabaster white and stone interior. This car looks Hot!

Thanks! I forgot to mention the warranty expires on Oct 2010 about 1 year from now. It will cost me additional $4000 for 2 years extended warranty. Anyone know how much is the warranty and what is considered a good deal ?

Aston Martins are expensive Jaguars, and Fords are cheap Jaguars.

All warranties, even from dealer seem to be set by the dealer. You can possibly buy before the warranty expires at a possible premium. It depends if you are going to keep the car. They are not trouble free.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, I am just glad I have a SL55 and XKR as some toys. It would be boring to have two SL55's in my opinion.
As for the Aston Martin, you can't tell me James Bond was wrong.

the SL550 is the new name in the U.S. for the SL500 - got changed I beleive in 2007. All models previously named 500's are now 550's - like the s550, GL550, etc.
