I guess you need to know how much deeper the pan is so you can make adjustment on the MB dipstick tool

The Mercedes Benz dipstick tool I have for the trans fluid on my 03 sl55 bottoms out I imagine on the bottom of the pan,and has a good amount still sticking out of the tube,so I may be wrong just thinking out loud

Hmmmm,
Since the pan appears deeper than the OE (and is stated to hold more ATF), and the aftermarket dipsticks touch the BOTTOM of the pan, (while I assume the filter supplied is the OE filter, which therefore is further from the bottom of the pan), I believe the 'depth' of the ATF needs to be greater. Thus, the 'full' level would be HIGHER on the dipstick than the measurements.
I assume Speedriven has taken this into account and would provide info on how much higher the ATF needs to be on the dipstick.
Alternatively, they may be supplying a filter kit with a longer neck, as I'm pretty sure the filter is the pickup location for circulating ATF through the system.

The kit comes with an cnced extension for the filter, to allow it to sit correctly. And yes we have made corrections for fluid level readings.
Yes we did
