Question Help Please! Where's the Best place to buy SL 65 front rotors?

Hi guys I'm upgrading my brake rotors since I'm putting the 20" Vossen CV3's on my 2005 SL 55 to the SL 65 front rotors, want more and better braking power especially since I've put on quite a number of performance upgrades....where to go? I checked parts.com...found nothing...Ebay doesn't have them or Amazon...they only have the cheaper and smaller one piece rotors not the big 15.4 inch 2 piece front rotors....Don't want to get ripped off either...I'm more than willing to pay for quality just please help me about where to look, thank you! Also I can't find a reliable place to get the updated carbon side mirrors, tried Ebay a couple years ago they sent me a pair that doesn't fit and also I want the Carbon fiber illuminated door sill panels that have the AMG sign that lights up at night....thanks guys I truly appreciate it very much! Also if you guys know where to go to buy the newer 2009 or 2011 SL 65 rear lights for my car I'd appreciate it too...I already have the clear rear stop lamp but the big side two rear units are the older 2005 design...I think the 2009 SL 65 had the better cleaner more modern looking rear lights but I'm not sure if they will fit in a 2005 model...thanks again!

there is a guy on here selling the 390mm rotors. You will also need new caliper brackets.

Question Ok...

Ok I know Buckhead Imports is working on trying to find out how to put on the bigger rotors but if there is a guy on here selling them please send me the link or his name on here I'd love to find out what his prices are for them compared to the price my mechanic is getting ....also does anyone on here have experience with rotors from racingbrake.com ? They claim to be a lot lighter than the OE AMG rotors...I'm using the akebono ceramic brake pads with stainless steel brake lines and DOT 4 super blue brake fluid,...I'm assuming all this is compatible with their rotors? Thanks for all the information guys! I'm doing a bunch of repairs and upgrades while its in the shop so I'm trying to get a few important things done while its their to be more efficient.....

Here is the rotor kit link.
http://www.racingbrake.com/Mercedes-.../mb-irk-10.htm

Kit is made for SL65 (05-06) R230 with a direct bolt-on installation.

Please PM or call us at 714-871-6392 for any questions. Our rotors works better with semi-metallic pad which are included (front and rear) in the kit.

Question Ok either I or Jason at Buckhead Imports will call you

Ok thanks man either I or Jason at Buckhead Imports will call you then, like I said my car is actually a 2005 model SL 55 but since I'm upgrading to 20" Vossen CV3's in replacement of the stock 18" wheels then I want to upgrade the rotors since the fronts are due now...I'm already running Akebono ceramic pads but I want the SL 65 larger front rotor size or even bigger if you have it (Maybe a 420mm front rotor, vented/cross drilled & diamond slotted would look so bad *** with my red painted AMG 8 piston Calipers ) So Jason, the owner of Buckhead Imports where my car is, is concerned that we need different brackets correct to do this? And that is because the upgraded rotors are not just bigger in diameter but also thicker correct? The different brackets will make the opening between the calipers bigger to accept the thicker rotor? And I will need bigger ceramic brake pads to have the appropriately larger swept area covered too? Thanks for all the help and info? And now that I know the price that Jason can get for me for the 390 mm 2 piece SL 65 front rotors, what is your best price for your front rotors that I need? Just want to compare....thanks!
Man I'm so excited that staggered fitment new wheel set up that Jason is doing with the wheel spacers so it sits as absolutely wide and aggressive looking as possible with the newly repainted Calipers and bigger rotors its gonna look so awesome, and with the retune he says I'll get another 30 HP/TQ....in a few more months I'll come back and do the DTM alcantara steering wheel upgrade and side mirrors and door sill panels IF I can find them (still can't) and maybe the Kleemann Camshafts....

We can make two piece rotors up to 432mm, but you would need 21" wheels to fit. Also must check what's the max rotor dia that your 8 pot caliper can fit.

We also have 410mm rotor rings that can probably fit your 20" wheels.

This is the cheapest I have found: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...mbo-2304211212

It is the Brembo equivalent @ $544 / rotor.

Exclamation What about the brackets?

Thank you for the information! But since my car is an SL 55 then my mechanic says we will definitely need new brackets because the larger rotors are thicker than the stock 360 mm rotors....can you please call Jason at Buckhead Imports and talk to him about this? I'd like the bigger rotors (390 or 415?) for the front with 20" wheels which I already bought for the car...
The phone number at Buckhead Imports is 404-816-9606 ....please ask for Jason Cummings the owner he is the one doing my car personally, thanks! They open at 8 am on Monday and close at 6 pm.....

Thank you yes I sent him a pm about them, in the picture it says 360 but I just want to confirm that they are indeed 390 mm 2 piece front rotors and that they are still new.....thanks for the info! I'll need brackets to go with them because my mechanic says they are thicker than my stock front 360mm rotors...don't have any idea where to buy them, do any of you?
