I've been out there for a few AMG track events, the drive isn't that bad. Caravan out here, we'll show you a good time!

from all my logs i rarely hit 19psi... conditions have to be perfect (low temp which is almost never in FL, low humidity which is also almost never in FL )
I think i have hit 19 psi maybe 3 times in 1 yr of logging my renntech/dp tuned.... 17-18 seems to be normal max i hit

Is the shifting any different or is that all controlled by the TCU (which I assume remained untouched)
While they were in there, did they change any other stuff i.e- removing speed limiter etc.

Shifting and all that seems about the same. Could be a little firmer just due to the power but its hard to tell it just takes off now. They cleared the cel for the cattles pipes and removed the limiter also. But I don't see myself doing over 186 mph very often anyway

You need to in order to pass tech for the AAA class that allows you to run under 11.50 without a rollbar and drive shaft loop. Tell them you're completely stock and bring proof of registration and insurance, Snell 2015 helmet, and a fire jacket rated to 3.2A/1. DO NOT tell them you even have air filters otherwise you're disqualified from that class. AAA class is to accommodate factory stock cars that are now capable of running 10 seconds and not force them to destroy the car by having to fit a rollbar or cage.

I launched my car like this yesterday and it works great Thanks ! I just realized I didn't turn traction control off and still launched pretty good , I guess if the tires spun it will pull power, I have to make sure to traction in sport .

With traction control on or in sport mode, the ecu will cut power more aggressively if it detects wheelspin.
Some wheelspin is good for Max acceleration if you are on street tires. Look at videos of the RS7 and Panamera turbo launching for examples

i always thought the tunes "locked" the ECU to always push 19 psi. Does it run less as a safety margin?
also, I read how modern turbo engines auto adjust ECU based on weather conditions to either run more or less boost in order to consistently make the same power in all conditions.Seeing that our tunes seem to be maxing out the turbos, I don't know if this applies to us, but if it's not always at 19 psi maybe it does, but if it's only doing that in colder weather then it wouldn't make sense since to make same power that would be more necessary to adjust to 19 psi under warmer conditions.
