Wicked Mercedes SL sports a Misha Design widebody kit and enough mods to crank out 700+ horsepower.

As anyone who’s ever built or bought one already knows, obtaining a high power tuned Mercedes typically isn’t cheap. This is true whether you purchase a freshly built machine or take your own ride in for some work. Throw in custom bodywork and interior trim, and you’re guaranteed to be staring at a massive bill. That is, unless you head on over to the MB World Marketplace and scope out this sweet 2005 Mercedes SL600, which sports an insanely cheap price tag of just $25,000.

Yes, for less than the price of a new economy hatchback, you can own a seriously powerful and highly stylized machine. This SL’s V12 has been built to the hilt with a variety of high quality components. They include Speedriven intercoolers with BOV’s, turbo downpipes, custom exhaust, SL65 Black Series injectors, and an OE ECU and TCU tune. Add it all together, and the seller claims this bad boy is cranking out over 700 hp and 900 lb-ft of torque.

That would certainly be enough to justify the price, of course. But like they say in those zany commercials – “but wait, there’s more!” On the outside, this Mercedes has been treated to a full Misha Design widebody, and it simply looks killer. A fresh set of CCW wheels were added to fill in the new fenders, measuring in at 18×10″ up front and 18×13″ in the rear.

With this caliber of build, you might also guess that the interior sports a few upgrades as well. And you’d be correct. Inside, you’ll find a custom steering wheel with SL65 shifter paddles, along with a host of carbon fiber trim. There’s also an ice/water tank in the trunk to keep that big turbo’d engine cool on track day. Brembo brakes help slow the big ‘vert down in a hurry, and there’s even a Renntech lowering module included.

This wicked Mercedes SL reportedly runs like a rabid ape and has zero issues. All of which makes that low asking price quite tempting. If you’re the type who has caviar tastes on a tuna fish budget, this seems like the perfect opportunity. After all, who doesn’t like reaping the benefits of a fast Mercedes at someone else’s expense?
