2014 C-Class Runs About the 'Ring in New Spyshots
Mercedes has been remarkably quiet about the next generation of C-Class. We doubt that it has anything to do with their recent disagreement with the IIHS, but one can’t help but wonder what they’re up to with their compact sedan.

Either way, the model has been seen testing on the Nurburgring completely shrouded in black plastic cladding. We know it’s the same shape as the outgoing model at least. This particular mule is packing a pretty hefty roll cage in the back seat. Though, that’s probably just for safety concerns.

Chances are it’ll get a swoopy redesign a la the CLS. The luxury sedan’s design language has seemed to seep into the rest of the brand’s models. The B and A classes are evidence of this, but the jury’s still out on whether the new S-Class and C-Class will be getting the same influence. We expect they will, but not to the degree of, say the CLA.

Who know? Maybe we’ll get an idea of they’re up to before the Paris Autoshow in October.
