Car and Driver Goes Tunnel Blasting in Nine AMGs

The guys at Car and Driver are incredibly lucky. The magazine was recently burdened with nine AMG loaner cars at their Detroit offices. That’s includes the SLS, S63, C63, the C63 AMG Black, the CLS63 E63  wagon, SL63 AMG Roadster, CL63 AMG Coupe, and the SLK55 AMG. All at once.

What happens next is music to our ears.

Tunnel blasting is guilty pleasure. It’s loud, attention seeking, but mostly a lot of fun. Blowing through a tunnel will also make 50mph feel like 500. And that’s in a Honda. Doing the same thing with the baritone bellow of nine 5.5L V8’s has got to feel pretty awesome.
