Most bystanders watched with raised brows, but Stuart Cox had the wherewithal to pull out his cell phone and film the former Top Gear presenters committing to an obviously terrible idea (no surprise). Caught on camera cruising through Cobham, a village 17 miles south-west of London, England, the trio — Richard Hammond, James May, and Jeremy Clarkson — were seen in a lifted Mercedes-Benz SL sporting huge wheels and off-road tires.

Stuart was lucky enough to have a very short exchange with Jeremy Clarkson, who noticed him filming. Clarkson pulled up to Cox and asked, “Are you filming this car because it is excellent?”

“It’s different,” Cox replied.

Per the above tweet from Jeremy, filming for the new show started in February and we are eagerly awaiting its debut, which is expected to happen late this year. No official title has been announced, and Clarkson has denied rumors of the show being called Gear Knobs, a name his law firm had trademarked.

One thing we can bet on, however, is that the three carmigos will entertain us again soon with their usual banter and antics.
