Mercedes-Benz Design Chief Is a Must-Follow on Instagram

Daimler AG head Gorden Wagener’s Instagram posts provide insight into future of MB.

By now, it’s common knowledge that the best way to keep up on your favorite people, places, and things is to stay connected to them on social media.

Like it or not, it’s now the way of the world — especially if you like keeping tabs on celebs or your favorite musical artists. Of course, some people on social media can be a little more entertaining than others.

When it comes to the world of Mercedes-Benz design, you’d be hard pressed to find more interesting Instagram posts than those from Mercedes-Benz’s Chief Design Officer, Gorden Wagener, as detailed in a report by The Street.

With more than 135,000 followers, the head of MB design has developed quite a fan base for the amazing insight he shares. Some of his most recent posts include a hot profile shot of the futuristic Silver Arrow, a striking interior look at Mercedes’ Future Truck, and a number of photos of the much buzzed-about AMG GT Concept, of course.

One of our favorites is the photo above of the Mercedes-AMG Vision Gran Turismo. As you can see, it’s garnered more than 5,000 likes.

There are also a number of photos of Wagener and his design team, and a number of in-studio photos, as well. With so many new design ideas emerging from the German carmaker, our guess is that some of Wagener’s best posts are yet to come.
