Mercedes SLS AMG Facelift
Mercedes is planning a facelift for the car, perhaps as early as the 2015 model year. As the photos show, however, it’s likely to be a very minor update. The camouflage only covers the front bumper and part of the grille, indicating a light update of the car’s look is in order in the near future.

The SLS AMG GT coupe was recently updated, gaining the GT in its name, as well as 12 more horsepower (for a total of 583) and a re-tuned version of the AMG Adaptive Performance Suspension, improving handling and adaptation to road surfaces. The seven-speed dual-clutch transmission was also sharpened up, making shifts quicker and more seamless.

The SLS AMG GT Roadster also shares in these updates already, so it’s as yet unknown what else might be changed or improved when the new front-end styling comes along. Updates to infotainment (COMAND), safety, and other technological aspects, including safety and performance mechanisms, could be in order.
