A collaborative effort between StudioTorino and Mercedes-Benz resulted to a distinctive conceptual model of the Mercedes-Benz SL Class. The design was the result of work by design students from Italy who were able to utilize their skills on the luxury vehicle.
The Mercedes-Benz SL model was given a facelift recently by the luxury car manufacturer. The modifications include the addition of some equipment and will be included in the models that will come out of the production line in June.
Although the equipment added into the AMG Sports models are priced at £6,625 the price tags of the vehicles have gone down. The Mercedes-Benz SL350 AMG Sports is priced at £69,960, which is lower than the £72,520 of the SL350.
German tuner BRABUS has just released its latest offering: the BRABUS 800 Roadster, based on the Mercedes-Benz SL 65AMG. True to its name, the car, which will be shown off at the Geneva auto show next week, gets to 800 horsepower thanks to its BRABUS-tuned 12-cylinder bi-turbo 6.0-liter V12 engine.
The BRABUS T65 RS tuning allows the engine to reach optimum performance. The engine contains specially developed high-performance manifolds, with high-perf turbochargers and integrated turbine housings. In addition, there are four intercoolers.
Renown Auto Style, an automotive development company based in California, has given the Mercedes-Benz SL (R230) a new wide body kit.
