Half-Mile Fleet of Mercedes-Benz Automobiles Spotted in Russia (Video)

Could the 78 Mercedes-Benz vehicles really be part of a Chechen Mafia wedding processional?

If you were to see 78 Mercedes-Benz vehicles lined up like this, it would likely be at a Mercedes-specific car show. This is hardly the kind of thing you’d expect to see at a formal affair in Russia.

That is unless the attendees headed to the event all work for the German automaker. Even then, you probably wouldn’t expect a predominantly Benz processional. That’s what makes this video clip so outrageous.

Half-Mile Mercedes-Benz Fleet

If these wedding attendees do actually work for Mercedes, we think we’re in the wrong line of business and should trade our occasional time behind the wheels of Benzes for steady gigs that give them to us as a company cars.

According to The Drive, it’s unclear exactly what the half-mile fleet of Benzes are up to. The processional includes S-Classes, G-Wagens, GL-Classes and ML/GLE-Class SUVs. Based on the matching pink decorations on a lot of the cars, and the formal attire on some of the men, one might speculate this could be for a wedding.

If so, then the video’s YouTube heading indicating the cars were lined up for a Chechen Mafia wedding processional might not be that far off-base as you’d think. Regardless of the event, this is a bold statement about the Mercedes-Benz love affair in Russia.
