Weistec’s New M157 W.4 Turbo Kit Overview
The W.4 turbo kit makes four-digit horsepower, so you could say it’s pretty serious.
We all know that you can throw a tune at a factory turbocharged car, and make some decent improvements in power and torque, but what if you’re finding the limits of the factory turbo? That’s where Weistec’s W.4 turbo kit comes in. It’s a complete replacement for the factory turbo, but with a bonus. You get bigger turbos, bespoke manifolds, new piping, bigger air intake boxes made of carbon fiber, and a meth injection kit to go along with it.
All in, the above components are said to produce 1,000 horsepower. Additionally, that’s coming in at a rather conservative 20 psi, and on 91 octane pump juice. The ECU is tuned in such a way that power delivery can be maintained without over-stressing the internals of the engine, giving reliable performance.
