On a related note, could those who know good sources of shift knobs, shift plates and/or shift plates for the C32 please post links here? I've been poking about online and not found anything I like. Thanks!

look again...it's not the same shifter console. That first pic looks more like it's from the A or B-class or even the SLK.

CLS55 AMG IWC Ingenieur is a limited edition "crossover" design of the infamous IWC watches and AMG.
I did not notice the emblem when I was in their show.
Willk check taken photos if they were there.

Good eye. According to WorldCarFans.com, Its the console from the "SLK black" edition from the newly opened "Performance Studio". More news see here:

Check out this site. I do not believe they sell directly to the public, but I found a guy on ebay that sell the knobs. I bought the carbon/chrome knob an am very pleased.

Obiously, there are many W203 accessories here so scroll down all the way.

My CLS 55 IWC Ingenuer has similar shift lever with AMG logo. But it is quite different in the way that IWC's AMG logo does not shine like the one in the picture. I don't think you can pick any parts unless you have a VIN number of MB AMG matriculated in Germany or other EU countries.

No, C32 and C55 do not have keyless go so it doesn't matter.

We need more info! I will buy this immediately depending on price of course. Probably up to 40 bux...

I have been pursuing this mod for over a year. I have visited AMG 3 times, it was on an SLK55 showcased in their customer center. They will not sell it directly to you at AMG. You must visit one of their dealers and special order the pieces. The part numbers are as follows:

A2092672710 € 220,-
gear shift lever in leather black

A1712670234 € 85,-
Affalterbach crest for gear shift lever

I910 € 21,-
Freight charges to the US

The delivery time for the item is approx. 4 - 6 weeks after placing the
order.

Here is the catch - you must purchase the lever. They will not sell you just the crest. That put's the cost at about $415USD. Too much for me.

I would buy the button to put on the shifter *** but I would not spend $400 on the whole ***. Has anybody found it separately yet?

I thought the steering wheels take 4-6 weeks to manufacture @ AMG.
The price is actually more than what kjb55 has stated. In order to place an order, you will have to give them(dealers?) your VIN number. If it is a US version, they won't sell it to you. At least that's what happened to me. So bring a German VIN number. Go find one at Ebay.de

There are AMG relica plates for the shift knob. They look pretty descent as well. I will post some pictures of them if you are interested.
