Brakes Broke... Again
I need to replace my parking brakes, but there is a problem.
The reason I need to replace them is the linkage (aka expanding lock) at the end of the cable, where it enters the brake housing, is badly bent. I've purchased new cables, but the linkage was not included.
I've seen parking brake kits for sale, with photos of all of the parts included (springs, clips etc), but there is no linkage.
Does anyone know of a kit for sale that includes the linkage? The MB service manual lists the part as the expanding lock.
I'd appreciate any help you can offer. I'll be completely removing the parking brake today and will work on straightening the linkage, but I'd rather have a new one before I put them back on.
