2.6 cold start
Hi
I have just aquired a '91 2.6 that takes a few turns of the key to start first thing when the engine is cold. Perfect for the rest of the day.
If it was an old manual car i'd say it was the choke, so i guess its the cold start sensor in some way.
Any one agree and where will i find it under under the bonnet.
Thanks
keith
Mechanic told me it's because I'm loosing vacuum and the vacuum pulls the cap in the distributor bowl to let air in, and that causes engine to run too rich and run boggy. What other vacuum lines should I check... Every line that goes to distributor is properly tightened.
Meaning I maybe have to change the gascap?
Thanks
