Its not uncommon to see those engine swaps especially in Thailand. The Nissan RB25DET is another common swap. Its a pretty cheap swap to have installed if youre in Thailand.

just out of curiostity, does anyone know how hard it is to put those motors into 190's? Just to put an rb25 or rb26 into a z31 300zx requires custom mounts fabrication of the engine bay and 100's of hours figuring the wiring. Same thing with the benz?

Doing the first one is hard, but once those shops figure out the fabrication of the adapter plates and mounts, it's 10x faster. It's also amazing how compatible the Nippon Denso circuits are with Bosch (well, not really since ND is Asian Bosch).

i was once considering putting a RB26DETT in mine.... but i got other plans for it. i love the way that motor sounds but damn man... i would be way too ashamed to open the hood.....
