I posted a problem a month ago with my 1992 190e 2.6. I needed help with the installation of a water pump. I got so much help, It was great. This forum is awesome!

I posted now three different Posts on water pumps and which one to buy, to Fuse problem with my sunroof. I have not recieved one reply. Please tell me if I am doing something wrong. I need some input here if someone can excuse my lack of knowledge on these mechanical/technical subjects.

If I could get some direction that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you..

Not to many people on this forum check the W201 section. Hence why I always try to point people to a W201 Related Forum where that is all we deal with. This is a great forum for other models but it seems not so great for some of the older ones. You can go to one specific for the W201(190) or another that deals with every model in one section instead of breaking it all down like they do here.

What are you talking about ! Thats a great site if you Like to be involved in; Lets see! what is the opposite of Interesting? Lethargic, colorless, Ho hum, Torpod, Zero, I think the best one is uninspired. Hey! thats only my opinion. I'm sure the guy's running it work there asses off to keep it afloat! They should clean up the language and abuse that goes on there. I have watched a lot of 190 owners asking for help and they get a verbal beating. Who cares , Right.

 

I still do not see what the problem was there! If you are offended by language then I am sorry! But that is life! I hear bad language all the time, but I can not exactly quit my job because of it if I was offended. Sorry but I think you were being a little overly sensitive. We 190 owners like to joke and have fun. We also like to poke fun at each other once in a while. Once again though whatever floats your boat and gets your whistle wet! Good luck on the 190!

 

Ya, you are right., I was a bit sensitive that day and took all my frusrtrations out in that thread. I have a 77 300D that is a car that just goes and goes andgoes! reg. maintenace. I just got a SL500 2003 and I dont need to worry much on it other than scratches. (Warranty). This 190 is a great car very clean white chrone factiory wheels. It just starts from one end and works its way down with nothing but problems I have over 4000.00 in reoairs from a local mercedes mechanic in Coeur d Alene. Thats why I started to do this my self. So one day had several mishaps with car along with almost broken knuckle. So i am sorry! have a great day...

 

No problem man we all get flustered from time to time. You have no idea of how many times I swore I would go to Germany and find the tiny handed person who built these stupid things! But hey you have to have a love hate relationship with them. Love to Hate Em!!!! Good luck man!
