Need help troubleshooting problem with my 190E Tachometer. Unable to determine the source of signal. Does it originate from a sensor at the vibration damper or from the ignition coil?? There is a lead that runs from the diagnostic socket to a bracket above the vibration damper but from a previous post, someone mentioned the signal comes from the coil. I have replaced the tachometer with a known good one but unable to get it to work.. The clock is also inoperative but is a separate problem.
